In order to improve the Workplace Responsibility System, our OHS Division has funded a series of online training courses to enhance accessibility to learning opportunities for our workplaces. WorkSafe Saskatchewan hosts the training session (links provided in the summary below).

There is a $10 registration fee to take any course.

Who should take this training?
This training is aimed at people who are responsible for conducting inspections and investigations related to health and safety in the workplace, including:

  • members of occupational health committees;
  • health and safety representatives; and
  • managers and supervisors.

Participants who successfully complete the tests at the end of each course will receive a certificate.

N.B.  Employers in Sasaktchewan have an obligation to ensure that members of occupational health committees and health and safety representatives receive training on their duties and functions. The Workplace Responsibility System provides a co-operative structure through which employers and workers can actively participate in identifying and controlling workplace hazards.
