Public Holidays (Statutory)

There are 10 public (statutory) holidays per year in Saskatchewan: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Saskatchewan Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day and Christmas Day.

The calendars below provide a list of the public (statutory) holidays for the province of Saskatchewan and the date on which each holiday will be observed in 2012 and 2013.

Please note: The Director of Labour Standards may authorize that a public holiday be observed on a specified working day other than the public holiday.
