Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety

The Workers' Compensation Act - Committee of Review (COR) is a periodic forum for people and organizations to recount their experiences with the workers’ compensation system and make suggestions for reform and improvement.  The Workers’ Compensation Act, 1979 requires that a COR be appointed every four years.

Each COR is appointed by the government to review and report on all matters concerning The Workers’ Compensation Act, 1979, the regulations, and the administration of the Act and regulations.  The 2010 COR completed its review process and submitted a report to the Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety on November 7, 2011.
